Abstract:

The professional development of teachers cannot be separated from the external support and guarantee of organizations. The organizational environment for the professional development of local Chinese language teachers in Cameroon is still under cultivation, and the existing support system mainly consists of three organizations: the Chinese language education supervision of the Cameroonian Ministry of Secondary Education, the Confucius Institute at the Second University of Yaound é, and the Cameroonian Chinese Language Teachers Association. The three parties have not yet established a partnership and cooperation relationship, and each faces difficulties in promoting the professional development of local Chinese language teachers in Cameroon. Therefore, it is difficult to provide effective follow-up training for local Chinese language teachers in Cameroon. Breaking through the difficulties and improving the effectiveness of on-the-job training for local Chinese language teachers rely on strengthening organizational and institutional construction, establishing a partner collaborative on-the-job training mechanism, and building a training system that is suitable for the professional development stage of local Chinese language teachers on this basis.
