Abstract：

With the continuous development of mobile Internet, short video has become the hotspot of the whole Internet after the COVID-19 outbreak. Short video applications represented by Tiktok and Kwai are not only loved by netizens in China, but also set off a wave of short videos worldwide. The short video content is concise and close to life, suitable for vertical viewing on mobile phones, easy to share and spread, providing new teaching tools and resources for international Chinese smart education. This article summarizes the advantages of short videos in real teaching scenarios and how to better serve interactive and task-based teaching by examining the relationship between short videos and international Chinese smart education.
