Abstract：

The application of virtual simulation technology in higher education is not only an objective requirement for the socio-economic development of the information age, but also an important measure for China to implement the digital education strategy and promote the intelligent upgrading of education. The virtual simulation experiment of landscape planning and design courses in universities should be based on talent cultivation, rooted in local culture, and aimed at rural revitalization. A student-centered and outcome oriented teaching system should be constructed to empower rural revitalization, build beautiful countryside, and enhance cultural confidence through the digital transformation of higher education.
