Abstract:
The concept of "interaction" in online game music creation involves profound issues of emotional regression and conceptual reevaluation. The interactive function of music is rooted in on-site or real-life experiences, aiming to help players engage in deep conversations with the game world on an emotional and spiritual level. Traditionally, music in online games has been seen as a backdrop to enhance the atmosphere, but its true interactive potential has been underestimated or even overlooked. This article explores the root causes of this situation and points out that the shallow interpretation of the "interactive" experience in the current game design field has not fully explored the deep role of music in promoting players' self to others and self to self communication and listening. Through case analysis, this article demonstrates how music can become a bridge of emotional connection in online games, enriching the gaming experience and reflecting the eternal value of music on a human level. At the same time, this article also reflects on the current status of music creation in online games, proposes the necessity of reevaluating the value of music interaction functions and exploring their spirit, and emphasizes the unique role of music in promoting game narrative, enhancing player immersion, and facilitating emotional communication.
