Introduction of Background Knowledge for Advanced Chinese Comprehensive Course for International Students

Abstract:

Background knowledge plays an important teaching role in the teaching of advanced Chinese comprehensive courses for international students. There are various ways to introduce background knowledge, including watching movies, conducting interviews and surveys, introducing oneself, teacher introductions, and student discussions. The introduction of background knowledge can promote the accumulation of Chinese language knowledge among international students, stimulate their interest in learning, and clarify relevant text content. The introduction of background knowledge should pay attention to distinguishing the main and secondary content, correctly viewing ethnic cultural differences, objectively and dialectically viewing historical events, and selecting appropriate knowledge entry points to achieve good teaching results.
