Abstract:

The construction of structure in calligraphy practice has always been a focus of people's attention. As early as the "pictographic" period, writing had formed the structural construction law of "using objects to describe books", that is, constructing associative structures through aesthetic concepts of the imagination of all things in the world. In ancient book theory, the principles of stroke and structural construction were generally integrated without being separately discussed. Therefore, only through the imaginative association of "using objects to metaphorically describe books" can the strokes of aesthetic concepts be structurally constructed. The emergence of blank spaces greatly promoted the construction of the internal structure of the character shape, and the intervention of the pen almost ended the possibility of constructing structures based on the imagination of objects and strokes. Standing on the high ground of aesthetic appreciation in the era, only by deeply studying the ancient theory of "using objects to compare books" and exploring how contemporary theories of using things and objects can be integrated and transformed into structural construction in practice, constantly innovating the associative structure of aesthetic concepts, and further promoting the practice of classroom calligraphy structure construction.
