Abstract:
With the booming development of the global tourism industry, the demand for high-quality and high skilled tourism professionals is becoming increasingly urgent. As an important platform for cultivating future practitioners in the tourism industry, vocational schools' tourism majors bear an indispensable responsibility. However, in the face of rapidly changing industry environments and constantly increasing professional requirements, traditional teaching models are no longer able to meet industry demands. The integration of industry and education has become a key path to improving the quality of vocational education and enhancing students' employment competitiveness. However, vocational schools' tourism majors have encountered a series of difficulties in promoting the integration of industry and education, which has further exacerbated the difficulty of industry education integration. In this regard, this article elaborates on the connotation of "industry education integration", analyzes the difficulties of industry education integration in tourism majors in vocational schools, and proposes innovative strategies for cultivating industry education integration talents in tourism management majors, in order to provide theoretical support for the integration of industry education in tourism majors in vocational schools.
