Abstract:
As a perfect combination of art and technology, movies have always been popular and loved by people. Doing a good job in film promotion can help people understand more about film information, generate desire to watch movies, improve box office data, and promote the good development of the film industry. In recent years, with the advent of the new media era, traditional film marketing methods can no longer meet the development needs of the film industry. Due to the uniqueness of new media, it is not only favored by film distributors, but also recognized and supported by a large audience. Traditional methods such as press conferences and poster marketing are no longer highly regarded. Creative marketing approaches are becoming increasingly important in film marketing, sometimes even determining the box office of movies. Marketing is an important part of the film industry, and with the development of the economy and the prosperity of the film market, competition is constantly intensifying. People's demand for movies has also become diverse. Whether a movie is successful, whether it can win the love of the audience, and achieve box office revenue, is no longer solely determined by the artistic and entertaining aspects of the movie. Film marketing is also playing an increasingly important role here. Most movies undergo a lot of marketing work before their release. Unlike traditional press conferences and posters, the new media era provides multiple ways for movie marketing. This article will attempt to analyze the various ways of movie marketing in the new media era from the following aspects.
