Discipline Construction and Teaching Mode of Legal Professional Ethics

Abstract:

As one of the core compulsory courses in the field of law, the discipline construction and teaching mode of legal professional ethics have attracted much attention. Legal professional ethics has a unique research object that cannot be covered by traditional secondary disciplines of law, and it plays an irreplaceable role in promoting legal education and rule of law practice. Therefore, legal professional ethics should be positioned as an independent secondary discipline of law. Legal professional ethics has the characteristic of interdisciplinary intersection, including "minor intersections" within the discipline of law with disciplines such as jurisprudence, administrative law, and criminal procedure law, as well as "major intersections" outside the discipline of law with disciplines such as ethics. From the perspective of manifestation, the rule system of legal professional ethics is its concrete level, while the conceptual concepts of legal professional ethics are its abstract level. From the perspective of normative effectiveness, legal professional ethics can be divided into three levels: primary, intermediate, and advanced. The teaching mode of legal professional ethics should conform to its disciplinary characteristics, adhere to the standardization of teaching content, the practicality of educational methods, the full process of educational links, and the deepening of educational effects.
