Research on the Integration and Application of Micro courses in Higher Vocational English Teaching under the Background of Course Ideology and Politics

Abstract:

As a compulsory course for students of different majors, English teaching in vocational colleges plays an important role in improving students' abilities and qualities. At present, the development of vocational English teaching is different from traditional teaching. Vocational English teachers should not only focus on imparting knowledge and skills to students and improving their English literacy, but also integrate ideological and political education into teaching to influence students' concepts. Only in this way can students meet the demand for high-quality talents in the new era. However, how to carry out comprehensive education in a constantly changing environment is an important issue. The emergence of micro lesson teaching method can be said to provide a good opportunity for teachers to enter modern teaching and development.
