Abstract:
Designing academic lectures based on teaching design elements helps teachers to organize the overall ideas of academic lectures. This article proposes a practical approach for conducting academic lectures among English teachers from the perspective of lecture designers. The speaker should first conduct a learning situation analysis of the teacher, determine the lecture content under the corresponding theme, and formulate the learning objectives of the lecture; Further determine the theoretical basis, plan the lecture process and handle details to help teachers gain a deeper understanding of the lecture content; Finally, the importance of teachers as learners should be emphasized, and the interaction between the main speaker and teachers should be strengthened to help teachers improve the systematicity and scientificity of daily teaching, achieve the integration of theory and practice, and provide assistance for improving the quality of education and teaching.
