The Essence of Ideological and Political Education is to Reason Theoretical Implications and Practical Guidance

Abstract:

To determine the essence of ideological and political education as reasoning, it is necessary to distinguish the differences between the reasoning of ideological and political education and that of other courses, social individuals, and family education. The reasoning of other courses mainly focuses on objective laws, while ideological and political courses emphasize the analysis of subjective ideological theories; We should also reason with members of society, but focus on discussing "reason" and interests. Ideological and political courses, on the other hand, emphasize "Tao" and ideals; The reasoning of family education focuses on touching people with emotions, while ideological and political courses emphasize convincing people with reason. Determining the essence of ideological and political courses responds to the questioning that ideological and political courses have no practical function and broad characteristics, and helps guide the reform and innovation of ideological and political teaching. Ideological and political courses should focus on "teaching". In terms of methods and approaches, we need to deepen our thinking, thoroughly explain our theories, and bring our ideals to life.
