Abstract:

Homework is an important part of large unit teaching, which is an extension of the classroom and a carrier for students to learn independently. However, in practice, due to unclear understanding of it, homework reform still faces many difficulties. Dialectical materialism is the fundamental method for us to understand and transform the world. Starting from the basic characteristics of dialectical materialism, this article analyzes the value of large unit assignments in optimizing the internal ecology of assignments, promoting the integration of teaching and evaluation, and for the development of teachers and students from a holistic perspective. Focusing on the dialectical law of dialectical unity of opposites, clarify the relationships between the "big and small" goals of homework design, the "long and short" cycles of homework, the "total and divided" structure of homework, the "static and dynamic" forms of homework, the "complete and precise" content of homework, and the "come and go" evaluation of homework. Finally, this article advocates that the design of large unit assignments should adhere to the following four principles: ensuring consistency of goals at all levels, strengthening the situational nature of homework tasks, paying attention to the horizontal and vertical connections between assignments, and completing a closed loop from evaluation to teaching.

Key Words:
