Reform of College English Writing Teaching in the Era of Big Data

Abstract:

With the increasing popularity of various mobile terminals, people's lifestyles and social production methods are quietly undergoing changes. In the field of education, college English writing teaching has unprecedented historical opportunities, but also faces certain challenges. Specifically, in the era of big data, there have been significant changes in various aspects such as writing teaching resources, writing ability connotation, writing evaluation, and writing assistance methods. However, from the current situation of English writing teaching in Chinese universities, there are still many problems, and proposing strategies for reforming English writing teaching in the era of big data is of great practical significance. This article focuses on the problems in college English writing teaching, analyzes the changes brought by the big data era to college English writing teaching, and finally proposes specific measures for the reform of college English writing teaching in the big data era. It is hoped that the research in this article can help improve the level of college English writing teaching reform.
