Abstract：

In order to comprehensively improve the comprehensive quality of college English teachers, it is necessary to optimize their information technology processing ability in combination with the new educational concept. The importance of cultivating the information technology ability of college English teachers should be clarified from the aspects of the development of the times, teachers themselves, and students' demands. While promoting the transformation process of teachers' concepts, the training environment should be improved to assist college English teachers in using multimedia and other teaching methods better. A network education and teaching platform should be jointly built to enrich the application path of information resources, improve the comprehensive level of college English education and teaching, and lay a solid foundation for the comprehensive progress of college English education.
