Abstract:
The "2017 Edition of Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools" points out the need to cultivate students' willpower and action ability in geographical practical activities such as investigation, experimentation, and survey. The literacy of "geographical practicality" helps to enhance students' awareness and ability to take action, enabling them to better observe and perceive the geographical environment and its relationship with human activities in real situations. However, there are problems in the teaching of geography practice activities in high schools in China, such as limited application of geography practice, insufficient practical literacy of teachers, and lack of practical venues and equipment. Therefore, students are unable to construct their psychology, master basic geographical thinking methods, and transfer and apply their learned knowledge to solve practical geographical problems through the limited practical activities, making it difficult to achieve the effect of deep learning. This study is based on deep learning theory, exploring the geographical practice elements contained in textbooks, formulating strategies for designing geographical practice theme activities, and providing a reference for middle school teachers to design geographical practice theme activities.
