Exploring the Path of Ideological and Political Reform in the Practical Course of Human Geography and Urban Rural Planning

Abstract:

Curriculum ideological and political education is an important measure for universities to implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents. Practical courses, as a supplement and extension of theoretical teaching, are an effective way to achieve the "five educations simultaneously". This article takes the Human Geography and Urban Rural Planning major at Northwest Normal University as an example to analyze the bottlenecks in the current ideological and political reform of practical courses. Combining with the requirements of local university professional talent cultivation, it explores the path of ideological and political reform in the practical courses of Human Geography and Urban Rural Planning major from six aspects: "training system+ideological and political education, practical projects+ideological and political education, teaching links+ideological and political education, teaching methods+ideological and political education, assessment and evaluation+ideological and political education and teacher team+ideological and political education", and realizes a new mode of education that promotes the coordinated development of "politics education learning practice research competition".
