Abstract：

In the higher education system, ideological and political education in universities plays a crucial role. It is a key link in shaping the correct worldview, outlook on life, and values of college students, and shoulders the heavy responsibility of cultivating talents with both morality and ability for the country. However, with the rapid development of the times, the traditional ideological and political education model has gradually exposed some limitations, making it difficult to fully meet the diverse learning needs of contemporary college students. At the same time, artificial intelligence technology is integrating into various fields at an unprecedented speed, and its powerful capabilities in data analysis and intelligent interaction have brought new opportunities for the innovation of ideological and political education in universities. How to cleverly utilize artificial intelligence to break through the bottleneck of traditional ideological and political education and explore practical and feasible empowerment paths has become an important issue that urgently needs to be deeply studied in the current education field. This article analyzes the value of empowering ideological and political education in universities with artificial intelligence, and explores the path of empowering ideological and political education in universities with artificial intelligence, in order to provide new ideas and methods for promoting the high-quality development of ideological and political education in universities.
