Abstract:
At present, educational and psychological interventions for autism present a diverse landscape. The most popular modes of intervention generally address one of the main symptoms of autism spectrum disorders in children: language comprehension and expression problems, interpersonal communication problems, emotional deficits or behavioral disorders. A child with autism spectrum disorders often has multiple barriers, such as social communication interaction and needs to improve the ability of multiple dimensions at the same time, and different abilities interact and influence each other. Every child with autism spectrum disorders has different symptoms, and there is no way to reach them with a uniform intervention. In addition, intervention intensity is also an issue, as other relevant factors such as the quality of the intervention and the child's attention affect the response to the intervention. In this regard, a Comprehensive Approach has become the most appropriate intervention for the developmental and behavioral problems caused by the core deficits of autistic children. It integrates multiple intervention techniques and methods to improve the skills of autistic children. This research report analyzes and discusses a case study of autistic children studying in inclusive schools. Through the emotion regulation and transaction support model (SCERT), how can it help him understand language and expression, overcome interpersonal communication problems, indirectly affect his emotions, and interfere with his social communication skills, and assist him in emotion regulation.
