Abstract:
In the current era of rapid global technological iteration and deep adjustment of industrial patterns, the wave of new engineering construction is surging, becoming a strategic choice for China's higher engineering education to actively connect with the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. The flourishing of emerging technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and new energy has given rise to a series of new industries and formats, placing unprecedented demands on the knowledge structure, practical ability, and innovation literacy of engineering talents. In this situation, the certification of engineering education majors in universities has become increasingly important as a key mechanism to ensure the quality of engineering education and promote the close connection between education and industry. Professional certification refers to internationally recognized standards and establishes a comprehensive quality evaluation system that covers training objectives, curriculum system, faculty, teaching process, and quality assurance, providing clear direction and path guidance for the reform of engineering education in universities. Exploring the impact and optimization strategies of engineering education professional certification in universities under the background of new engineering disciplines not only helps universities accurately grasp industry demand, optimize talent training programs, and improve the quality of engineering talent training, but also promotes China's transition from a major engineering education country to a strong engineering education country, assists in industrial transformation and upgrading, and enhances the country's core competitiveness. This article aims to contribute theoretical and practical wisdom to the innovative development of the new engineering talent training model through multidimensional analysis.
