Abstract:
Objective To analyze the feasibility of applying contextual teaching combined with simulation teaching resources in obstetrics and gynecology nursing practical teaching. Method The obstetrics and gynecology nursing interns from February to May 2024 were selected as the observation subjects, and randomly divided into groups based on their class. The control group (n=76): 17 males, 59 females, aged 22-25 years, average age (23.65±0.68) years. The observation group (n=75): 14 males, 61 females, aged 22-25 years, average age (23.65±0.68) years. The general data of both groups were compared, with p>0.05. The control group adopted conventional obstetrics and gynecology nursing practical teaching, while the observation group implemented a combination of contextual teaching and simulation teaching resources. The study evaluated the learning achievements, teaching satisfaction, and nursing ability of the two groups. Result The theoretical and practical scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, p<0.05. The satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, p<0.05. The nursing ability scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, p<0.05. Conclusion The combination of contextual teaching and simulation teaching resources in obstetrics and gynecology nursing practical teaching can significantly improve teaching quality, enhance nursing ability, and the students approve of the combined teaching mode.
