Abstract:
The rapid development of information technology has brought unprecedented changes to the field of education, among which virtual reality technology, as an immersive interactive tool, is gradually integrating into the teaching practice of various disciplines. In architectural courses for environmental design majors, traditional teaching methods often rely on two-dimensional drawings and static models, which make it difficult to visually demonstrate the complex structure and dynamic changes of architectural spaces. The limitations of this teaching method affect students' in-depth understanding of architectural design principles and mastery of practical skills. The introduction of virtual reality technology provides new possibilities for solving these problems. Through 3D modeling and real-time rendering, VR can create highly simulated virtual building environments, allowing students to observe and operate building spaces in an immersive manner, improving teaching quality. Based on this, the article analyzes the theoretical basis of adapting virtual reality technology to architectural education, and studies the application strategies of virtual reality technology in environmental design architecture courses, in order to provide theoretical support and practical reference for the digital transformation of architectural education.
