Abstract:
With the acceleration of social rhythms and increasing competitive pressures, psychological issues among college students have become more frequent, making mental health management an essential component of the higher education system. This paper focuses on the impact of mental health management on students' academic performance and emotional regulation, employing literature review, theoretical analysis, and case studies to explore the practical role and optimization strategies of mental health management within higher education. Research indicates that a well-established mental health management system in universities significantly enhances students' academic performance and emotional regulation abilities, playing a crucial role in cultivating well-rounded talents. The paper concludes by proposing strategic recommendations, including strengthening mental health education curricula, improving psychological support systems, and fostering students’ self-regulation abilities, to provide references for the practical implementation of mental health management in higher education.
