Abstract:
With increasing societal attention on the physical fitness and health literacy of college students, how to effectively integrate sports health knowledge into public physical education courses to enhance college students' health behavior levels has become a significant issue in educational reform. This paper, based on questionnaire surveys and empirical analysis, investigates the current situation of college students' sports health knowledge and health behaviors at a certain university, and explores the practical path of integrating sports health knowledge into public physical education courses and its impact on health behavior. The research results show that the scientific integration of sports health knowledge significantly improves students' health awareness and behavioral habits, with a positive effect on enhancing physical fitness and promoting mental health. The paper concludes with suggestions for optimizing university physical education curriculum design, strengthening teachers' health education awareness, and building diversified health education platforms, aiming to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for physical education reform in universities.
