Abstract:
In the context of continuous innovation in medical technology and ongoing updates in nursing philosophy, obstetrics and gynecology nursing, as an important branch of nursing, has placed higher demands on nursing professionals in terms of clinical thinking, practical skills, and humanistic literacy. Traditional teaching models are increasingly revealing limitations in terms of the depth and breadth of knowledge transmission, as well as the comprehensiveness of student skill development. The OBE (Outcome-Based Education) philosophy, which is outcome-oriented and emphasizes student-centered learning, places a strong focus on skill development and achievement of learning outcomes, thereby providing a new direction for reform in obstetrics and gynecology nursing education. Blended learning integrates online and offline resources, breaks down spatial and temporal barriers, enhances teaching interactivity, and aligns with modern educational trends. Combining the OBE philosophy with blended learning in obstetrics and gynecology nursing education can help establish a more scientific and efficient teaching approach. This study outlines the OBE philosophy and blended learning, analyzes the current issues in obstetrics and gynecology nursing education, and constructs an OBE-guided blended learning approach for obstetrics and gynecology nursing education, aiming to provide a practical model for teaching model innovation and the cultivation of high-quality nursing talent in the field of medical education.
