Abstract:
In the context of the new era, the fundamental task of cultivating virtue and educating people has placed new
demands on the construction of ideological and political (ideo-political) curriculum systems across primary, secondary, and higher education. The through-connected ideological and political curriculum system emphasizes vertical integration
across different educational stages and horizontal integration of multidisciplinary resources, aiming to unify value
guidance, knowledge transmission, and ability cultivation. Currently, practical teaching in ideological and political courses
at the primary, secondary, and higher education levels faces issues such as disconnected objectives, fragmented
resources, and imperfect evaluation systems, which constrain the effectiveness of moral education. Based on a review of
the theoretical foundations of the through-connected ideological and political curriculum system, this paper explores the
integrated path of practical teaching across educational stages. The study finds that system thinking should be adopted
to coordinate the design of an integrated curriculum objective system; diversified and hierarchical practical teaching
content should be constructed; collaborative teaching carriers inside and outside schools should be strengthened;
innovative information-driven teaching models should be developed; and a combined process-oriented and outcome- based evaluation mechanism should be improved. Meanwhile, a support system including policy backing, teacher team
development, integration of practical resources, and optimized operational management needs to be established. Through theoretical discussion and case analysis, this paper provides theoretical basis and practical pathways for
achieving integration of practical teaching in ideological and political courses across educational stages, aiming to
enhance the educational effectiveness of these courses.
