Abstract:
In recent years, China's educational reform has entered a new phase centred on establishing a holistic
educational system encompassing moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labour education. However, aesthetic
education remains a relatively underdeveloped component within the nation's educational framework. Promoting the
effective integration of aesthetic education with ideological and political education in higher education institutions not
only aligns with the developmental demands of quality education but also represents a crucial direction for innovating
talent cultivation models in the new era. Currently, significant challenges persist, including insufficient alignment of
objectives, inadequate resource integration, and incomplete evaluation systems, indicating a considerable gap remains
before achieving deep integration. To transcend mere ‘superimposition’ and achieve ‘organic integration,’ this paper
proposes an innovative educational model grounded in collaborative pedagogy theory. Drawing upon national policy
directives and international university practices, it integrates ‘goal orientation, curriculum delivery, practical activities, faculty development, and evaluation incentives’ into a unified framework. This approach aims to cultivate moral character
through aesthetic education, refine aesthetic sensibilities through moral cultivation, and foster mutual enrichment of
both, thereby providing a practical pathway for nurturing a new generation capable of shouldering the great task of
national rejuvenation.
