The Transformation of Leadership in Higher Vocational Education from the Perspective of Governance Modernization

Abstract:

The modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity poses new requirements for the governance of higher vocational education. As the core driving force of higher vocational education governance, the transformation of educational leadership is imperative. Starting from the connotation of governance modernization, this article defines the core essence of leadership in higher vocational education and the intrinsic relationship between the two. Combining with its practical problems in the main structure, operation mechanism, ability and literacy, evaluation system, etc., it clarifies the four value orientations of "multiple collaboration, rule of law norms, professional empowerment, and student centeredness", and proposes a specific reform path of leadership in higher vocational education from the perspective of governance modernization, providing theoretical support and practical reference for the high-quality development of higher vocational education and the construction of a service-oriented skills society.
