Abstract:
Basic education development in Hunan Province's ethnic minority areas faces distinct challenges and
opportunities. Within the framework of building an educationally strong nation, promoting high-quality basic
education development in these areas is crucial for achieving educational modernization and fostering national
unity, cultural preservation, and social stability. Based on Hunan's regional characteristics, this paper examines
the essence, practical challenges, and solutions for high-quality basic education development in ethnic minority
areas. It proposes comprehensive strategies encompassing educational innovation, policy improvement, resource
optimization, and teacher development to establish a high-quality education framework suited to Hunan's ethnic
minority regions, thereby promoting balanced, sustainable educational advancement.
