An Exploration of the Challenges and Strategies for Enhancing College Ideological and Political Education through the Digital Literacy of Students

Abstract:

The emergence of artificial intelligence has provided new impetus for the digital transformation of ideological and political education in universities. As one of the main subjects of ideological and political education in universities, college students are undoubtedly a key element in this transformation process. The digital literacy of college students empowers the transformation of ideological and political theory courses in universities by enhancing the subjectivity of ideological and political objects and reconstructing the interactive mode of ideological and political education subjects. However, the implementation of the empowerment process faces practical challenges such as the imbalance between the guidance of ideological and political values and the application of digital technology, the contradiction between traditional ideological and political models and students' digital needs, and the gap between ideological and political education goals and subject digital literacy. We should use the core of ideological and political education to lead the application of technology, use ideological and political innovation to solve mode contradictions, and focus on the goal of cultivating talents through the improvement of literacy to build an effective path, promoting the digital literacy of college students to become the internal driving force for the digital transformation of ideological and political education in universities.
