Abstract:
With the continuous progress of society and the improvement of theories related to family education, research on the relationship between family upbringing methods and children's emotional management is
gradually increasing. Emotional management ability is a key component of children's mental health and social
adaptation ability, and has a profound impact on their overall growth. The role of family upbringing methods in
cultivating children's emotional management ability is receiving increasing attention. This article analyzes the
impact of different parenting styles on children's emotional cognition, expression, and regulation abilities. The
research results show that some parents currently have educational misconceptions in child rearing, such as
neglecting the importance of children's psychological needs, neglecting their subjective initiative, neglecting the
cultivation of good behavior habits, overindulging children, and the erroneous concept of "no beating, no talent". Therefore, suggestions are provided for parenting styles in families, helping and guiding parents to adjust
parenting styles, thereby promoting the healthy and harmonious development of children's psychology, and
providing reference for family education practice.
