Abstract:
Against the backdrop of Yunnan Province's strategic positioning as China's gateway to South Asia and
Southeast Asia, this study investigates the critical role of school social work in fostering career integration
between Yunnan's college students and the dynamic regional markets. Using a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the research explores how school social work
interventions address the gaps in cross-cultural career preparedness. The findings highlight the effectiveness of
integrated casework, group work, and community resource mobilization in enhancing students' regional career
knowledge, intercultural competence, and practical employ-ability. The study concludes by proposing a three- dimensional intervention model, offering theoretical insights and practical strategies for cultivating international
talent in border regions.
