 Research on the Innovation of Pediatric Nursing Education Models in Colleges and Universities under the Empowerment of Artificial Intelligence

Abstract:

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, the healthcare field is experiencing intelligent and digital transformation. Pediatric nursing education in colleges and universities is facing new challenges and opportunities. The traditional pediatric nursing education model, dominated by classroom lectures and clinical internships, suffers from limited practice opportunities, uneven distribution of educational resources, and single teaching methods. The introduction of AI provides new solutions for pediatric nursing education in higher institutions, utilizing intelligent-assisted teaching, virtual simulation, personalized learning, and big data analysis to achieve innovation and optimization of educational models. After reviewing the current application of AI in nursing education, this paper explores the specific pathways for innovating pediatric nursing education models under AI empowerment, covering the construction of intelligent curriculum systems, the application of simulation and virtual training platforms, the optimization of teaching methods and assessment approaches, and the upgrading of teacher–student interaction modes. Through theoretical analysis and practical exploration, this paper proposes actionable reform strategies for pediatric nursing education in colleges and universities, aiming to enhance educational quality and modernize nursing talent cultivation.
