Abstract:
Against the backdrop of the “Healthy China” strategy and the comprehensive advancement of quality
education, physical education courses no longer merely serve the purpose of physical training and athletic skill
development. Instead, they have become an important vehicle for disseminating health knowledge and
cultivating health literacy. At present, college physical education courses in China generally face problems such
as the separation of theoretical knowledge from practical training and the disconnection between classroom
teaching and daily practice. These issues lead to students’ lack of systematic health cognition and scientific
exercise concepts. Taking the deep integration of sports health knowledge and practical courses as the research
object, this paper systematically analyzes the necessity, existing dilemmas, long-term mechanisms, and
educational value of such integration. The study argues that constructing a scientific long-term mechanism and a
multidimensional educational value system can not only enhance students’ athletic abilities and physical fitness, but also promote the construction of healthy values and the cultivation of lifelong exercise habits, thereby
providing strong support for the “Healthy China” strategy. From a multi-level perspective, this paper proposes
integration paths and practical suggestions, which carry both theoretical significance and practical value.
