Abstract:
Against the backdrop of the rapid development of the digital economy, innovation and entrepreneurship
education in universities, as an important channel for cultivating interdisciplinary, applied, and innovative talents, is facing
unprecedented opportunities and challenges. The digital economy not only drives profound adjustments in industrial
structures but also provides new tools, platforms, and ecosystems for innovation and entrepreneurship. Traditional
innovation and entrepreneurship education models, in terms of philosophy, content, methods, and evaluation, can no
longer fully meet the needs of the digital era, thereby requiring systematic transformation. This paper first elaborates on
the connotation and developmental characteristics of the digital economy, reviews the current dilemmas of innovation
and entrepreneurship education in universities, and then explores transformation paths in educational philosophy, curriculum systems, teaching methods, and industry-education integration mechanisms. The study finds that the digital
economy requires universities to place greater emphasis on interdisciplinary competence, digital literacy, and practical
innovative spirit, and to rely on information technology to realize resource sharing and model reconstruction. Finally, this
paper proposes suggestions such as policy support, institutional safeguards, and platform building, with the aim of
providing reference for the high-quality development of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Chinese
universities.
