Abstract:
Red culture represents the ideological and cultural heritage developed by the Communist Party of
China throughout its revolutionary struggles, nation-building efforts, and reform initiatives. This cultural
patrimony possesses substantial historical significance and enduring contemporary relevance. The integration of
Yunnan's distinctive red cultural resources into practice-based ideological and political education at higher
vocational institutions serves dual purposes: preserving revolutionary heritage and fostering comprehensive
character development among students. This study examines the primary challenges currently facing red culture
education implementation in higher vocational colleges. The research proposes enhanced pedagogical
approaches that leverage Yunnan's unique regional revolutionary heritage and develops a comprehensive multi- stakeholder collaborative framework. The objective is to strengthen educational effectiveness while cultivating a
new generation equipped to advance national rejuvenation goals. The findings suggest that systematic
integration of local red cultural resources through coordinated institutional mechanisms significantly improves
both the authenticity and impact of ideological education in vocational settings.
