Cultivation of College Students’ Digital Intelligence Literacy in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Connotation, Current Situation, and Path

Abstract:

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is accelerating society into a new intelligent era, reshaping industries and redefining educational goals. In this context, digital intelligence literacyintegrating digital and intelligent competencieshas emerged as a critical attribute for higher education graduates. It encompasses technology cognition, data thinking, intelligent application, ethical awareness, and innovative practice. Despite growing recognition, current university cultivation efforts face challenges including outdated curricula, insufficient practical platforms, teacher capability gaps, and inadequate evaluation mechanisms. To address these issues, this paper proposes a comprehensive reform strategy: reconstructing curriculum systems, strengthening practical teaching, enhancing faculty capacity, optimizing educational environments, and establishing scientific evaluation frameworks. A holistic ecosystem for digital intelligence literacy development is essential to cultivate high-quality talents capable of adapting to and leading intelligent societies.
