The Construction Path of Rural Teachers' Core Competence under the Perspective of Chinese Education Modernization

Abstract:

This study focuses on building core competencies for rural teachers in the context of China's educational modernization. It analyzes practical challenges such as slow knowledge renewal and limited professional development among rural teachers, while exploring pathways to integrate local culture with professional competence, drive competency development through reflective practice, and establish a multi-resource support system. The research indicates that rural teachers' competency framework should be rooted in local culture and responsive to contemporary needs. This framework holds profound significance for promoting educational equity and advancing rural revitalization strategies, while providing theoretical guidance for teacher development in rural areas.
