Abstract:

Against the backdrop of the nation's deepening “integration of physical education and academic education” strategy, sports dance courses in higher vocational colleges face challenges such as outdated teaching philosophies, monotonous curriculum design, and rigid assessment methods, necessitating urgent reform. This study proposes a trinity teaching model integrating “classroom-stage-competition” to enhance educational effectiveness. Centered on “classroom learning (study), stage performance (practice), and competitive events (competition),” this model forms an organically interconnected teaching ecosystem. “Learning” serves as the foundation, emphasizing systematic instruction in sports dance theory, skills, and choreography knowledge. “Performance” acts as the pivotal transformation phase, cultivating students' artistic expression and psychological resilience through campus exhibitions and cultural performances. “Competition” represents the culmination, honing students' competitive abilities, rule awareness, and team spirit through participation in various contests. These three elements interpenetrate, creating a virtuous cycle where “learning facilitates performance, performance drives competition, and competition validates learning.” The study employed literature review, case analysis, and action research methods, focusing on the model's construction pathways (including curriculum goal positioning, content restructuring, and methodological innovation) and its support system (requiring multi-departmental coordination and establishing a multi-dimensional evaluation mechanism). Practice demonstrates that this model effectively stimulates student initiative, significantly enhances comprehensive competencies such as professional skills, artistic expression, and psychological resilience, while simultaneously advancing campus sports culture development and faculty professional growth. Research indicates that the “Classroom-Stage-Competition” trinity model serves as an effective approach to overcoming current teaching challenges and elevating educational quality. It achieves an organic integration of knowledge transmission, competency cultivation, and value guidance, providing valuable insights for vocational sports curriculum reform. Future recommendations include deepening school-enterprise collaboration and strengthening digital resource development to optimize and expand this model.
