Case Analysis of the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Service Consumption

Abstract:
In the digital economy era, artificial intelligence (AI) technology has spread from production to daily life. It has become a key factor that changes how families arrange their time and make consumption decisions. This study uses in-depth interview data from 7 full-time employed people who have used AI products or services. It bases its analysis on Marx’s time dichotomy theory and Becker’s time economics theory. It uses family leisure time as the middle link to systematically analyze how AI optimizes family time arrangement in both work and daily life. It also looks at how changes in leisure time affect family service consumption behavior and the logic behind these changes.
