On the Integration and Innovation of Comic Form in the Creation of Animated Short Films

Abstract：

Comics and animation belong to two distinct forms of artistic expression, each possessing its own unique artistic characteristics and charm. How to combine the advantages and strengths of the two to explore and create a new form of expression that retains the language of comics while also embodying the charm of animation, finding a convergence point between animation and comics, expanding the audience for both, and enabling more people to accept, understand, and enjoy animation and comics, and even to produce such an artistic work that combines both forms and artistic flavors? Therefore, this article proposes a new term - "Donghua Mian" (dynamic comic). Through analysis and comparison, this article summarizes the inherent superiority of this new form of artistic expression, as well as how it adapts to the technological tide and utilizes its own advantages to seek the greatest development space in the face of rapid technological development. This article analyzes and discusses this, and looks forward to the prospects of its future development.
