Abstract:
Turner syndrome (TS) is caused by the complete or partial deletion of an X chromosome, it is the only haploid syndrome that can survive after birth and is one of the most common types of human chromosomal variation. The main clinical features are female gonadal development and ovarian dysfunction, low fertility, short stature with or without other related abnormal signs. At present, the fertility protection of children with TS has attracted more and more attention from the medical community, the implementation of fertility protection is an important link to preserve fertility and solve infertility. This paper mainly focuses on the fertility protection strategies of children with TS, namely, drug treatment, ovarian tissue cryopreservation and transplantation, and oocyte cryopreservation.
