Abstract：

This article aims to provide theoretical guidance for the comprehensive prevention and control of pests. It summarizes the impact of heavy metal accumulation on plant insect resistance, summarizes the mechanism by which heavy metal accumulation affects plant insect resistance, and analyzes the effect of herbivorous insect feeding on plant heavy metal accumulation. The mechanism by which heavy metals affect plant insect resistance is still unclear, and the importance and necessity of conducting research on the impact of heavy metal accumulation on herbivorous insects in natural environments are proposed.
