Competition Mission

To facilitate the rapid transformation of multidisciplinary academic achievements and discover innovative and valuable papers, the Greater Bay Area Academy of Behavioral Sciences, in collaboration with NEM Publishing House, is organizing the "2026 Greater Bay Area International Academic Paper Competition."  

The competition adopts an "evaluate first, recommend later" model: all submissions are double-blind reviewed by experts organized by the Academy. Selected outstanding papers will receive an official recommendation letter from the Academy and enter the fast-track publication process of NEM Publishing House.

I. Eligibility

Scholars, researchers, postdoctoral fellows, PhD and master's students from universities, research institutes, and enterprises worldwide, regardless of nationality or region.

II. Scope of Submissions (All Disciplines Covered)

The competition accepts original research papers, reviews, and research reports in the following fields and related interdisciplinary areas:

III. Competition Highlights

Zero review fees: No review or evaluation fees are charged for submissions – completely free.

Authoritative review by the Academy: Independent anonymous review by the Expert Committee of the Greater Bay Area Academy of Behavioral Sciences ensures fair and credible results.

Official recommendation for publication: Outstanding papers receive an Academy recommendation letter and direct fast-track entry to NEM Publishing House.

Wide range of journals: 138 journals covering all disciplines, searchable on CNKI/VIP homepages.

Transparent process: Authors can check review progress at any time; evaluation before recommendation – reliable and safe.

IV. Awards

First Prize (10 winners): Honorary certificate + Academy recommendation for publication in a CNKI English journal or a core journal.

Second Prize (20 winners): Honorary certificate + Academy recommendation for publication in a discipline-appropriate journal.

Third Prize (30 winners): Honorary certificate + Academy recommendation for publication in a regular journal.

Honorable Mention (unlimited): Electronic certificate of achievement, with optional voluntary application for recommended publication.

After obtaining the author's consent, all award-winning papers will receive an official recommendation letter from the Greater Bay Area Academy of Behavioral Sciences and be submitted to NEM Publishing House for the publication process. After publication, articles will be searchable on the CNKI or CQVIP homepages.

V. Submission Requirements

Originality: Unpublished original work; plagiarism and simultaneous submissions are strictly prohibited.

Format: Word document, 3,000–8,000 words recommended; clear figures and tables; standardized references (APA style suggested).

Anonymity: Author names, affiliations, funding information, etc., must not appear in the main text (provide these separately on an attached page or in the email body).

Language: Chinese or English.

VI. Submission and Review Process

Initial screening (3 business days): Format and academic ethics check.

Expert double-blind review (2–3 weeks): Scoring by the Academy’s expert committee.

Results announcement: Published on the official website and notified by email.

Recommendation for publication: After award winners confirm, the Academy issues a recommendation letter, and NEM Publishing House contacts the authors for subsequent publication arrangements.

VII. Important Dates

Submission deadline: December 31, 2026 (quarterly review; early submission is encouraged)

Results announcement: Within 15 business days after the end of each quarter

VIII. Fee Description

The competition does not charge any review or evaluation fees to participants.

IX. Copyright and Ethics

Copyright of submitted papers remains with the authors. The competition organizers have the right to display abstracts for promotional purposes. Academic misconduct is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

大赛宗旨：

为促进多学科学术成果的快速转化，发掘具有创新价值的优秀论文，大湾区行为科学研究院联合NEM出版社举办 “2026大湾区国际学术论文大赛” 。大赛采用“先评选、后推荐”的模式：所有来稿均由研究院组织专家进行双盲评审，评选出的优秀论文将获得研究院官方推荐函，直接进入NEM出版社的快速发表通道。

一、参赛对象

海内外高校、科研院所、企事业单位的学者、研究人员、博士后、博士及硕士研究生，不限国籍和地区。

五、参赛要求

原创性：未公开发表过的原创成果，严禁抄袭、一稿多投。

格式：Word文档，3000~8000字为宜，图表清晰，参考文献规范（建议APA格式）。

匿名：正文中不得出现作者姓名、单位、基金等个人信息（单独附页或邮件正文中注明）。

语言：中文或英文均可。

六、投稿与评审流程

提交稿件：将论文（Word）发送至大赛专用邮箱。

邮件正文请注明：姓名、单位、职称/学历、联系电话、通信地址。

初筛（3个工作日）：格式与学术道德初审。

专家双盲评审（2-3周）：研究院专家委员会打分。

结果公示：官网公布并邮件通知作者。

推荐发表：获奖作者确认后，研究院出具推荐函，由NEM出版社联系作者进行后续出版安排。

七、重要日期

征稿截止：2026年12月31日（每季度评审一次，先投先评）

评审结果：每季度结束后15个工作日内公示

八、费用说明

本大赛不向参赛者收取任何审稿费、评审费。

九、版权与伦理

参赛论文版权归作者所有。大赛主办方有权以宣传为目的展示摘要。严禁学术不端，一经发现取消参赛资格。
