Abstract:

The fundamental guarantee of national food security lies in arable land, and land consolidation is an important means to supplement arable land. However, land consolidation work involves a large scope, complex natural, economic, and social backgrounds, high technical requirements, strong policy implications, and many constraining factors. Therefore, different problems often arise during the construction process of land consolidation projects, which affect project implementation and quality. This study summarizes the main difficulties and problems encountered in the implementation of land consolidation projects in China based on the characteristics of land consolidation, literature review, and engineering practice experience. Solutions and suggestions are proposed to provide reference for achieving sustainable land use.
