Abstract：

Different cultures have gone through different stages of development and have to some extent removed the dross, carrying unique cultural colors. At present, multiculturalism has become the mainstream of social and cultural development, and cellists have a high pursuit for the continuous development and improvement of string quartet art and cello art. Starting from the basic overview of string quartets, this article analyzes the performance standards of cello timbre and rhythm in string quartets from a cultural perspective. This not only gives the cello performance standards in string quartets sustainable artistic vitality, but also lays a solid foundation for related research.
