Abstract：

The murals in ancient Chinese architecture have a very long history and have left a significant mark in the history of world painting. At present, the protection of ancient architectural murals in China has been carried out in an orderly manner, and the actual effectiveness of mural protection has shown a significant improvement trend. This article mainly relies on China's excellent mural resources to explore the current situation of the protection of ancient architectural murals and future renovation measures. The author hopes to summarize the characteristics of ancient architectural murals, innovate protection methods, and connect the protection measures of ancient architectural murals in China with the world level, promoting the high-quality and high-speed operation and progress of cultural relic protection work.
