Abstract：

Bamboo has outstanding visual characteristics and profound cultural connotations. Exploring how to symbolically and imaginatively apply bamboo to spatial design can help innovate spatial expression, convey bamboo cultural connotations, and reflect national characteristics. This article first explores the relationship between imagery and symbols, then sorts out the intrinsic visual symbols and humanistic processing symbols of bamboo. Based on this, it seeks the spatial presentation methods of bamboo imagery, and finally proposes strategies for visual element transformation, formal feature visualization, and bamboo image redesign, aiming to explore new design ideas and methods for the innovative application of bamboo in spatial environments.
