Abstract:
Ingredients are the material basis of cuisine, and their multiple values make them an important tourism resource. Food tourism is a new type of tourism that relies mainly on high-quality characteristic food resources and organically integrates food culture with the tourism industry. Exploring the landscape of food industry and agriculture, experiencing the process of food production, participating in food festivals and events, purchasing specialty food products, and participating in food cooking are all forms of food tourism. To develop food tourism, we should deeply explore the cultural connotations of ingredients, comprehensively analyze the basic attributes and value functions of ingredients, attach importance to the protection of food tourism resources, and organically combine them with other tourism elements.
