Abstract:

The endogenous electric field of the human body regulates related physiological processes. Electrical stimulation has been proven to promote tissue repair and regeneration. Piezoelectric biomaterials, as an intelligent material capable of converting mechanical energy into electrical stimulation, have promising application prospects in the field of tissue regeneration. This article summarizes the current classification of piezoelectric biomaterials and their mechanisms of promoting tissue regeneration, as well as the latest research and application progress of piezoelectric biomaterials in tissue regeneration fields such as bone tissue, nerve tissue, skin tissue, muscle tissue, and cardiovascular tissue. Finally, it summarizes and analyzes the shortcomings and corresponding improvement measures of piezoelectric biomaterials in practical applications.

Key Words:
